I think the "boogie man" in this situation ia the hj authorization key
which you have to install for jaws to run. Some time ago, on the the
blind-l list I saw a message on this point and it was suggested that you
remove the authorization key to "its" disk and then defrag and reinstall
key after. Jaws is the only program I have heard of that has this
problem, built in of course.  Wrong! Magic 6.1, hj's new screen
magnification product is now built the same way, I know, I use it.
