Cindy
I had one surgery at 7 and a second at 15. After the first one my body
compensated by hitching up my affected hip...I am an avid sports player
(coed softball, skiing, and swimming) and this eventually became a big
problem because I has overcompensating so much that I has beginning to
experience lower back strain. The second operation at 15 went fine, but
afterwards I have found it extremely hard to rebuild my muscles. Since I
am 21 now, PT and the specialist have dropped, I visit annually for the
last time this year. I am really afraid that I wouldn't be able to
rebuild my muscle. As a college student I tend to be sitting in class or
at studying...this really cuts into my time to devote to working out.
Surgery? At this point I am not sure that it is the best option. I am
starting ESTIM once again...it seems to work.
