I need to have some individual letters (about one thousand) cast in bronze
for a memorial, each to be pinned to a limestone wall. The style of the
memorial is to be the same as previous memorials in the same chapel.
Unfortunately, since the script is unique, the molds for the existing
letters no longer exist. I have identified a standard font which the Owner
finds an acceptable match. I have a price from one foundry, which made the
letters for the Second World War Memorial. I also have a price for the same
letters cut from sheet, but I think that they will look rather different.
Does any one have suggestions/ experience of foundries that do this type of
casting, and any caveats?
