Ah, but Terra Cotta detailed properly essentially turns a building into a
shower stall, able to withstand severe wet/dry cycles with little problems
and "Looks marvelous" in the process.....Like my architect friends tell me
regarding EIFS (though I disagree) don't blame the material, blame the
idiocy of the installer....

Is it the material or the piss-poor detailing of the hanging system that
causes you to slander the most versatile and colorful material ever to grace
the facade of a Kress store.

I can
personally attest to some piss-poor conditions--particularly in terra cotta,
which is in the running for shittiest material before EIFS-- revealed by
swingstage inspections, for which a lot of people owe Local Law 10 their
lives, and some of us our livelihoods.
