Ian, when I worked for Micron Electronics, we sent thousands of
computers overseas to Europe and Asia with no problems.  Those computers
used mostly US Power power supplies.  Some used Tiger power supplies.
Both brands worked just fine.  I haven't ever heard of any problems with
the voltage switch, or with systems failing because of it.

Obviously the important thing is to double check the switch when they
get to Scotland and make very sure that it's where it needs to be.
