I think you have to follow Bette Hagman's advice and always carry your own.
My husband ordered a GF meal from Continental Airlines (for our son.) When it
arrived it was a burrito in a flour tortilla and two breadsticks! The regular
meal? Broiled chicken!

I had packed food for him as I knew it wasn't safe to assume. LL
