My 12 year old son has been sick since Aug. 23rd. He has had his gal
bladder out because it was not functioning properly on Oct. 6th (his
birthday). He continues to cramp, tired, headaches, weight loss and
constipation. He has been tested for parasites, bowel workup, gal
stones, liver function, cat scan and several hide-a-scrans. They found
swollen lymph glands and that was why they did the hide-a-scan on the
gal bladder.
I am having him tested next week for celiac (blood tests) because the GI
doctor took only biopsy's of the stomach and not the small intestines.
The GI doctor has prescribed the third type of IBS medication and they
have not helped.
My question is where does the stomach cramp when you have Celiac? How
long does it cramp? Does it cramp when you have not eaten anything? On
a scale of 1-10 how intense is the cramping?
Thank you.
