This is another question that seems to crop up intermittently, so I thought
I'd answer to the list:

Luksusowa is the Polish brand you're looking for, and there is another from
Korea made from sweet potatoes: Jinro Soju. This is only forty proof and
the single best selling alcoholic beverage in the world, but it's the
smoothest tasting vodka I've ever tasted. No smell or taste of rubbing
alcohol, and tastes like the smoothest martini you've ever seen. I often
drink it straight in a martini glass with a couple of olives when I'm too
lazy to mix a martini. That lets me drink twice as many with the same
alcohol accumulation :) One of the few things I like straight.

There is also the Skyy Vodka in the cobalt blue bottle. It's been distilled
four times and is so pure it's not supposed to give a hangover -- but it
does :( Never heard of anyone having a reaction to this one either. -vance
