A proposal has been made to extend the food labelling laws for genetically
modified foods in Australia and New Zealand.  Both governments are inviting
public comment, and you can lodge your comments over the web.  The deadline
to lodge submission is really tight, so do it soon!

Those outside Australia/New Zealand may also find this web document
interesting, since it gives a very good background for genetically modified
