I just got back to NY from Florida and did a supermarket search. That's my
latest way of getting my exercise. To be brief. There were 3 potential
mustards that may be safe and one is the liquid Coleman's hot English mustard
made in New Jersey as opposed to the dry Coleman's mustard imported from
England. The ingredients listed included no form of vinegar and no wheat
which I did find on the dry mustard label tonight as another list member
noted. That wheat tag is a new thing, my old containers in the house do not
have that on them. There are also 2 other potential mustards, I am going to
call all 3 manufacturers tomorrow.
Honeycup uniquely sharp mustard from Canada made by Stone Country contains
cider vinegar and natural tocopherol which are the only potential problems.
Old Cape Cod Sweet and Hot Honey Mustard only contains cider vinegar which
could be a source of Gluten. I will keep everyone posted. If anyone knows
about these products please let me know.
