Just read your (summary) post on transient gluten tolerance. Guess I
could have responded sooner, but don't always get around to reading
all the postings!
My 2 cents worth would be that this "transient" tolerance may be simply
people who have healed on a GF diet, and were never very sensitive in
the first place (like myself) and then cheat and have no real problems,
so THINK that their problem has gone away. Ofcourse, when they go off
the diet, the intolerance eventually comes back, once they have yet
again destroyed enough of their intestinal lining.
Ofcourse, I am not a doctor, and would have to read the medical report
to see just how the doctor mentioned reached his conclusion. But I
would be very skeptical, and certainly not risk poor health based on
the finding of one report.
