I remember seeing a number of posts over the last few years questioning
whether Celiacs are eligible to donate blood.

I called the American Red Cross (1-800-give-blood) this week and was
told that Celiacs ARE eligible.  They are aware of Celiac Disease, but
it is not on their list of disqualifications.

Now that I have been on the GF diet for almost two years, and my iron
levels have been normal for some time, I'm going to get back in the
habit of donating blood.
