In general, the default string is the most suitable if you haven't
encountered any problem, because those strings are officially provided
by your modem vendor. All the strings are written into the *.inf
files, it is not a wise decision to edit it directly into the file.
You can use the AT command to override the default string in Control
Panel-Modem.
