Hi JIm,

First of all, I think you got the prices backward. Window Bridge sells for $695 plus shipping. Jaws sells for $795 plus
shipping. With Windowbridge, add $200 for dec Access 32. For Jaws, the price is $895 with Eliquence combined.

NOw, these screen readers do more than just read the web. HPR ONLY reads the web. If you set up your computer
JUST to read the web, you can get away with just spending $150. However, most Blind people need the computer for
mor than just web surfing. Hince, a screen reader.

I can't speak for JAWS, but Window Bridge does a good job with surfing the web, especially if you are using ie4.01 or
later with msaa 1.2. Window bridge can easily be configured to use multiple voices for different things read. Also, you
can set up a beep or a voice that says "link" every time a link is crossed while reading the web page after it has been
loaded. Also, you can read the page in "natural order", meaning if the page is in columns, it will be read back to you in
columns. Also, you can bring up a list box with all the links in alphebetical order.

Take care,
