ISA modems do not have to be hardware modems, most inexpensive ones are
not. I was looking at Diamond's website, and it says indicates that it is
a Winmodem, being that it says it only support Win 95/98. To see it
yourself, go to http://www.diamondmm.com/products/current/supramax-isa2.cfm
, and click on Tech Specs on the left.
