DIMM refers to the form factor for the RAM. There are several
configurations, but the most common type IS a 168 pin version. Others are
used in laptop computers and have about 148 pins. SDRAM is talking about the
type of RAM. SDRAM stands for Synchronous Dynamic RAM. Usually, however,
SDRAM does come in the 168 pin DIMM form factor. You need to check the
requirement of you motherboard to know what specific type of RAM you need.
SDRAM even comes in different speed ratings and with or without error
correction. RAMBUS is also on the way to further confuse the issue of buying
RAM in the future! :)

I have a question about SDRAM and DIMMs...

Are they the same??? If they are different, what is the difference??? Are
they both 168 pin???
