I have to make a choice between SCSI and Fiber Channel Technology and need
to understand each one. My goal is to get the fastest HD I can for HD video
editing and real time video playing.

It would be nice if someone could explain the up side and down site of each
of these technology. I have seen that Fiber channel HD are cheaper. Does
this mean that this technology is realy lest expensive or that also mean
that it's lest performant?

What about configuration, which one is easier to configure. Fiber channel
use coax cable or fiber optic, Does that mean that with fiber channel, you
can use longer cable than with SCSI?

And what about reliability. does one is better than the other?

What should I care for when purchasing one of these interface? What are your
recommendation for specific model and brand?

Thank you all.
