The vents at the back of the power supply are usually EXHAUST vents,
rather than INTAKE vents. Cool air is generally pulled in through other
vents or just wherever it can find a way in. IMO, the worst thing about
placing a filter over any intake vents is that when the filter clogs,
you've essentially stopped the major portion of your airflow, which
seems like it would significantly raise the internal temperature of the
PC. I'd rather clean the inside periodically than worry about restricted
airflow.
