This is the reply I got from White Wave, the company that makes Silk.
My original Question: My daughter is severely allergic to ALL milk
products. I would like to know specifically about Silk soymilks and the
use of dairy equipment. Could you please give me some specific
information regarding the safety of Silk for her?

Thank you for your interest in White Wave. We appreciate your comments
and
questions regarding Silk Soymilk.
Our tolerances for dairy content in Silk Soymilk is zero. We understand
that many of our loyal customers drink Silk because they are lactose
intolerant. We are committed to providing a product that is one hundred
percent lactose-free. Silk is processed on dairy equipment. Before
Silk
can be "run", the equipment is flushed out with water and then air. We
always dispose of the first 75 gallons to ensure that no lactose has
been
left in the stainless steel pipes. I hope this information is helpful
to
you. Best regards from Tofu Town.
