Hi all

I haven't been active at all, except for reading messages, for quite awhile.
Let me do a brief re-introduction. I'm Janet Perkins Corbett, I've CP -
"mild-to-moderate", can walk, talk, and do all "msjor life functions". I've
been married for a year and a half to a wonderful man named Kendall :) I'm
currently a grad student in (hopefully) my last semester. We are both 38
years old.

I take valium, and I used to take dantrium till my husband and I decided to
try and get pregnant. Docs said that there was no research on dantrium
relating to pregnancy, advised that I quit taking it, so I did. The
ill-effects were not nearly as bad as I thought they would be - quite
manageable most days. The valium is a more known medication, and there is
research done on it.
*********
What I would REALLY like is to hear from women who have had babies while
taking valium throughout their pregnancy.
*********
Sometimes, according to the literature, a woman in labor will be givan valium
to assist with labor. I don't know anymore about that aspect of it, though.

So, if you have had a baby, and take valium, or know someone who has, please
reply, I really want to know more about this.
