Hi Peter -- Great to see Pam and you at the association meeting tonight. The weather kept the group small but everyone was extremely active.

Your assistance in selling raffle tickets is greatly appreciated. The two documents are attached. If you have trouble opening them, please contact Jon Heinrich at 259-1372.

See you soon.

Madison * Camagüey Sister City Association
Win-a-trip-to-Cuba Raffle 2001

The raffle is part of the association's capital fund raising drive for this year. The proceeds from the raffle will support humanitarian aid for our sister city of Camagüey including medical supplies and improvement projects at health care clinics.

The prize offered is airfare from Madison to Toronto and from Toronto to Cuba plus lodging with breakfast in Cuba for one week. The prize - winner could travel with the association on the February 2002 cultural week trip or any other trip sponsored by the association in 2002. The prize - winner could also opt to receive $1000 cash prize in lieu of a trip. The prize - winner would travel as a member of the association and would be expected to meet the provisions of the association's travel agreement.

Only 250 raffle tickets will be sold. Each ticket is $20. The drawing for the raffle will be at the October 2001 monthly meeting scheduled for Wednesday October 3rd. Participants need not be present to win. There are no restrictions to participation in the raffle * it is open to the public and association members.

We appreciation your willingness to help.

Questions concerning the raffle should be directed to Jon Heinrich at 259-1372 or Paul Stone at 273-3532.
