I have an ABIT BX6 board that allows booting in many orders. I hope to keep
it as A, SCSI, C:.

Just a brief path to consider....Does your BIOS setup allow for
setting the boot order. Newer AMI and Award (I believe) allow
choices for boot devices and boot order from the likes of SCSI,
LS-120, CD-ROM, A:, C: and the usual suspects. The AMI BIOS on a
machine I'm presently working with allows for 4 boot priority
levels, 1st through 4th boot devices. You may want to check on
this for its interaction with System Commander.
