Ordinarily, this message may mean that the drive door is open, or
that the drive is reporting no disk present.

If the media is actually CD-RW [and this sounds *unlikely* in your
case, but not impossible], it may not be readable in some older
drives.
If the CD was written in multi-session mode, and was not
"closed" (finalized -- no more sessions can be added later), it may
not be readable in some older drives.
Yours may be one of them.
