Someone on the list recommended the above book about the Lewis and Clark
expedition and it is excellent. Talk about carnivores of the first order!
Check it out, if you are paleo, you will find it fascinating.  Their
favorite food was fat, fat, and more fat, like buffalo hump.

What does tongue have in it, as they mentioned they loved buffalo tongue.
Has anyone tried tongue?
