I had a near death experience once when my Dad caught me throwing cats
out the hay loft to see if they really land on all fours.  I didn't see
any light, but boy howdy, I sure saw stars!

(BTW - they land on all fours because they use their tails to "rotor"
themselves into an upright position.  This was discovered after taping
an old tom's tail to his leg and giving him the old heave-ho into the
straw below.  Even disabled kids can be cruel--I still feel horrible
about that thirty years later.)
