I don't deny that very little will remain of the original bus station,
and certainly not in a state of appropriate to the integrity of the
original
design.  I am thinking too much of compromise before the design is full
explored and presented to any voting body, let alone HDC.  I
rather doubt that there will be adequate material provided for the
January meeting, and I am concerned that we will feel somewhat
railroaded
into voting on it.  I still want to know what Bill Martin's intentions
are regarding the original appeal, and I would like to see the vote
postponed just to put him on the spot and make a public statement
regarding his intentions to "save" the bus station and the earlier
request
for demolition.

P.S.  You're right, about the possible demo but no construction.  The
process takes forever...
