Hi, I wrote yesterday about my use of Red Star nutritional yeast as a gf
source of B vitamins. I wanted to add that nutritional yeast is not the same
as Baker's yeast; it is produced specifically for nutritional use, and does
not contain live yeast. I believe it is recommended that baker's yeast not
be used as a nutritional supplement, since it does contain live yeast. I
received a couple responses that alerted me to the possibility that someone
might start taking baker's yeast as a supplement, thinking that it was the
same product, so I thought I'd better write again! Leslie
