Dear Listmates:

I called a gal in Las Vegas since she was one of about three people
listed as being in a celiac group in Nevada. Her name is Catherine.
She belongs to the Celiac Disease Foundation, which is based in Studio
City, California, (818) 990-2354, Contact: Elaine Monarch, executive
director.

Catherine was EXTREMELY helpful. Here are her recommendations:
1. Contact Specialty Laboratories, Incorporated, through a division
called Client Services, which is based in Santa Monica, California.
Client Services' address and phone are: 2211 Michigan Avenue, Santa
Monica, CA 90404, 1-800-421-4449.
2. Specify that you need the test kit for Celiac Disease
Antibodies-Gluten Sensitivity Evaluation, Test Code 1076, 2 millimeters,
.08 mL serum, ambient. Include Maximum Sensitivity gliadin antibodies
IgA and IgG and gluten antibodies, (which I suppose is the endomysial
antibody test).
3. When you receive this test kit from Client Services, make an
appointment with your phlebotomist (the person who draws blood). (I
didn't receive info on who sends the kit in with your blood sample, but
I suppose the phlebotomist could do it). Have the phlebotomist use the
test kit for your sample of blood and send the samples to:
Specialty Laboratories, Incorporated
P.O. Box 92722
Los Angeles, CA 90009
4. Now, go watch a fun movie and relaaaaaaax. :)
