Hi all. Two questions. First I don't have the energy to fight with my
doctor in order to have a bone density test. I met another celiac at a
party last night and she tells me that she is taking 2500mg of calcium
per day as recommended by her doctor. I did see an orthopedic for back
pain and he told me that I should take 3 Tums per day and to make sure I
had vitamin D in my multi vitamin. This is what I have been doing. How
much calcium do we need? Can you take too much calcium?
Secondly, I have a question on flavored coffee. I am assuming that the
coffee one can get in coffee shops that you grind youself is probably
suspect. I am assuming the beans are soaked in something that could
cause us a problem. Am I correct? Are there any flavored coffees that
are safe for us? I will summarize.
Thank you,
Joan in PA
