I would like to suggest, one of the first things you do is visit the
SeaGate web site and download the information on the model of drive you
have. You can also download their installer programs: Diskmanager and
Diskwizard. The documentation that comes along with these programs is in
great detail and tells you just what steps are required to install your
model of drive on your system. After you have done the above, and still
have questions, drop another note to PCBUILD and then those questions can
be answered.
