In a message dated 98-09-24 02:26:44 EDT, you write:

<< I constantly receive illegal operation messages from the explorer shell (I
guess), and it eliminates my system tray. Usually, I just restarted my
computer and it didn't happen for a few days, but now it happens regularly.
How can I fix this? Thanks in advance!

Try running scandisk. One or more of the necessary files may be corrupted
because of a physically bad sector, lost cluster, etc...
That *should* identify the cause, and all you'd have to do is re-install the
explorer shell.

Good luck,
Delano Lalla
