                       Minding Your Own Business!
                       You Can Work for Yourself
                           in the New Economy

                          --------------------

During the economic resurgence of the past decade, many people have
chosen to start their own businesses. You can do this too.

Most people have toyed with the idea of going into business for
themselves. We have pulled together successful entrepreneurs, technical
resources, and other small business support personnel to craft and
deliver a set of six seminars. This series will provide you with all
the tips, tricks, tools, and techniques, needed to successfully launch
yourself into a profitable small business.

The first workshop will be held on Saturday, September 16, at 9:30. It
will feature Tom Broderick, a highly successful insurance broker for
over 40 years. Mr. Broderick, a decorated veteran of the second world
war, was recently highlighted in Tom Brokaw's bestseller, "The Greatest
Generation". After being blinded in combat, he came home to start his
own successful business.

Along with Dave Porter, president of Comp-Unique, and others, Tom
Broderick will be exploring the following:

     - Developing a business plan
     - Forming alliances and building business coalitions
     - A general overview of what it takes to get your own small
          business off the ground

We will meet at 22 W. Monroe, Room 904. Please RSVP at (312) 236-0808.
Space is limited.
