Cardbus cards aren't downward compatible with older laptops which only support
the PCMCIA (also sometimes called PC Card) standard. An example is Compaq
Armada 7300s support Cardbus but LTE 5150s only support PCMCIA. If you don't
know for sure your notebook supports Cardbus, buy the PCMCIA type 3 card.
Cardbus capable SYSTEMS are backward compatible. I think Cardbus is 32bit and
are accessed at a higher clock speed.
