Hello list people!
I cannot believe it, but I've almost filled
my 6.5 gig HD. I need more capacity! My system is: P-2 333, 128 mb. CD
rom, CD burner, Internal zip, 6.5 HD. As you see, all of my IDE ports
are full at this time. I need to add another HD. Should I :
A. Get another IDE H.D. and get rid of the internal zip and replace it
with a parallel port model? ( I don't want to do that as I have 2
printers hooked up to a Belkin Automatic switch, but I will if that's the
answer)
B. Get a scsi adapter and scsi H.D? (I've no experience with scsi, will
this combo even work for me?)
C. Get a scsi internal (or external) zip drive, and another IDE hard
drive?
I know that I could just get one of those mega-mega 12-15 gig HD's and
transfer all my existing stuff to it, but we all know what a pain that
can be, so that is the last choice. I cannot believe I've actually
almost filled this thing! My good old 486 is still cookin' with the
350meg it came with in 1994!! I've never even "cleaned" that one out!
Any and all thoughts or solutions offered will be greatly appreciated!!
Thank You
Richard Tabas
