I had an Asus P2B board that I had similar problems with. I believe if you
read the manual it states it needs PC-100 sdram even if you are running a
66 Mhz bus speed. I changed the ram and got the PC 100 sdram. I tried 3
different video cards but had no luck. I found that the motherboard was
shorting out so I used all plastic spacers which worked for about a week and
it started again. Since the motherboard was still under warranty I returned
the motherboard for a new one. The new motherboard worked like a charm the
first time I booted it up with no problems. It also worked with SDRAM that
wasn't PC 100 compliant ram.
