Every motherboard I've seen so far, including Packard Bell has a jumper
on it that has enable/disable function for the onboard video, if so
equipped.

If you can't find your manual, there is etching on the board most times that
you can see denoting what each jumper does. If this isn't the case,
www.packardbell.com should have online manuals you can download

Subject: [PCBUILD] Adding a New Video Card

I have a Packard Bell computer that I use and the motherboard in it has 2M
of onboard video. If I ever wanted to upgrade the video and add a video card
with more ram, would I be able to do this and somehow disable the onboard
video through Device Mangager or some other way? Would this be possible? I
would like to someday upgrade my video to 4 or 8M but the only way I know to
do it is add a new video card since I don't think the video on the
motherboard could be upgraded.
