Actually Hubbard did not make up Scientology;  he merely science
fictionized what he learned from Jack Parsons.   For the original, look
up _Magick in Theory and Practice_ or _Magick Without Tears_, both by
Aleister Crowley.
Although I am not saying, mind you, that Thelema is  totally consistent
with Karl's version of neurology.
