Roxanne, I have been using MIS Associates (www.missupply.com) on the net
for my HP 1600C printer refill supplies for over 2 years. They have a good
cross reference for their products. I purchased one refill kit and then
bought bulk inks (pints). The kits are handy to get the proper narrow
nozzle'd bottles and cartridge holders. I have only purchased 4 cartridges
total (printer has 4 separate cartridges) in the past 2 years, but have
filled the original and replacement cartridges 35-40 times. If your client
is like my users, buy about 5 times more black than any other color. I have
already used a couple of pints of black.
BTW, the costs at MIS for the 200Cxi is: kit for 4 refills of each color
(16 total refills) - $60US, and 16 oz. bottles of ink are $24 for 16
refills. I initially purchased the kit and then ordered the 16 oz bottles
of black only. I am still using the ink from the kit for the color refills.
Much more economical than buying cartridges each time.
