  The Celeron cuts costs in a few ways -- SMP disabled, no/less L2 cache,
locked clock multipliers, reduced packaging and mounting hardware, smaller
cooling needs due to less heat production at rated speed.  Intel is
trying to use these cost reductions to go after the low-end PC market.

  I've seen nothing to suggest that they differ in this respect.

  There are a few Slot 1 boards in mini-AT form factor.  The one I have
is by Gigabyte, and I've found that the placement of DIMMs conflicts
with the lower front 3.5" drive bays of my tower case -- I had to mount
a couple of hard drives in bays underneath the power supply instead.
