For the most part, USRobotics is so expensive because just like everything
else that is name brand, you would be buying the name.  But according to
almost every test that has been done, USRobotics modems are the fastest on the
market because even though the features are the same on both modems,
USRobotics uses top quality parts and they don't skimp.  Also, the way the
parts are utilized are different, with USRobotics being better, at least that
is according to most tests.
