I have an old 8088 which I have taken out after a long time. On booting I

I am unable to figure out what is wrong.
 Please help.

Hi,
You say it has been sitting a long time......chances are good the CMOS
battery has died, and all CMOS settings are lost, therefore the errors on
bootup. You can reset the CMOS settings, but until you replace the battery, it
will "forget" them every time you turn the computer off.

Peter Hogan
