My maternal aunt was diagnosed with celiac 3 yrs ago.  I was tested by a
gastroenterologist this past summer after being told by my allergist
that I probably had celiac.  I have doubts about the tests that were
performed.  He did a standard blood test (cbc/comp metabolic panel ) and
a small bowl series (xrays).   None of which showed anything wrong.
When I asked if having been on a gluten free diet for 6 wks prior could
alter the resuts, I was told no.  I've continued with the diet and feel
wonderful.  However, I still don't know what my diagnosis should be.
I've assumed after talking with others and doing some research that I
may just have a food intolerance to wheat and dairy products.
Any ideas or suggestions ??
