yes, it is possible to go and surf the Internet with a Braille & speak.
Below is the first tutorial that explains in detail how. I have given
Dean high marks in the past for the Top Guide to the Internet tutorial he
mentions. For the review, check the newsletter archives on the Chicago
Blind Computer User Network's home page at
http://www.city-net.com/vipace/friends/chicago

First, we have a new tutorial.  “Blazie Computers on the Internet” is a
step-by-step guide to getting on the Internet with a Braille ‘n Speak and a
shell account, using Brlterm as your software.  For many, a Blazie
notetaker is the only computer accessible; for others, it is a great option
in certain remote situations.  This tutorial, designed as a companion to
our Top Guide to the Internet, assumes no knowledge of the Internet or
Brlterm and takes the user through the configuration processes for Brlterm,
Pine and Lynx, with interactive demonstrations of the use of these
programs.  The tutorial, consisting of one Library of Congress-format tape
and a supplemental disk, can be ordered from the usual dealers or from me
for $19.50 plus shipping.
