Press Release from the Three Rivers Free-Net and the Carnegie Library of
Pittsburgh

Make the Three Rivers Free-Net Your Home on the Web

The Three Rivers Free-Net is asking all Southwestern Pennsylvania residents
with World Wide Web access to make the Free-Net their "HOME" on the web. Are
you are still downloading the Netscape or Microsoft Explorer home page every
time you connect to the Web? A simple change in your browser's option file
will change your HOME location to the Free-Net. Simple, easy to follow
instructions for editing your options file can be found at
http://trfn.clpgh.org/About/muyhp/

The Three Rivers Free-Net links Internet users to the most up-to-date
information about the Pittsburgh Region. From the Free-Net homepage headline
news, weather, sports and access to free E-mail sites are never more than three
clicks away. The Free-Net's 7,900 web pages contain regional and national
employment, cultural, social service, sports, health, government, business,
volunteer, neighborhood and lifestyle information. If there is Pittsburgh area
information on the World Wide Web the Three Rivers Free-Net either hosts it or
links to it.

Look at what others are saying about the Three Rivers Free-Net:

"I've been all over the Net, but I keep TRFN as my home site. It has always
offered the widest range of starting points without all the clutter of some
sites."
