If I were to exclude foods, based on ancestry, my plate would be almost
empty. HG's had a much broader range of food to choose from in nature. One
of the keys of this diet is variety. As long as a food is paleo, can be
eaten raw, is a primate type food, and is available, I can't see any thing
wrong with it. If you have a reaction to something, you can avoid it
altogether if you like. In a diet, where any one thing is in moderation, any
effects would be minimal, if even noticed. I'll even slip in a little
nightshade 2-3 times a month, but I don't make a habit of eating it every
day.
