Thanks for your input on the fruit-for-a-week idea. It may work for
some people but I suspect my body would be one of the sensitive ones.

your macro diet-- exactly the kind of anecdotal thing I was looking

Thanks Ilya. That comment has spooked me again into opening my blinds
during the day even though I like it a bit dark... declining light
levels are so much associated with winter, and I'm trying to remember
to look at a host of instinctual clues for the body-- not just what we
eat-- 'cause it's definitely not the whole story.
