Thanks to those who replied.  Knowing that I can
swap freely will make them even more useful.

The guy who sold me these (at National Computer in Wichita) warned
me that not only will these not be interchangeable among brands, even the
same manufacturer makes different kinds that are not interchangeable.  I
suppose that if you want to use these, you should buy a few spares of
exactly the same kind.
