I know people have recommended antifungals of various
>kinds, but we both have found especially prescription antifungals to do
more
>harm than good. I give my son a garlic capsule but the yeast seems to
spring
>eternal. Any ideas?? And why does the healing take so long? If ever????
Both
>of us have worked so hard. My son has been denied so many foods, even paleo
>foods. I don't understand how these little guys/gals can be so horrifically
>damaged. strng antifungals only "excite" the candida and make it come back
>stronger.
i had symptoms of overgrowth of candida for years that i attribuated to the
fact of taking daily cortisone that is known to disturb the balance of the
intestinal flora I never took any fungal or anything that could disturbed
this flora even farther, eating garlic was the only thing that i did and i
observed as you did that the relieve is very short live and trigger a
counter reaction of overgrowth.
We have to understand the intestine as an ecological system where every
species are working in balance and regulating each other 's population , our
lifestyle disturbed that balance in many ways ( i even observed agravation
of symptomes if i don't respect my need for sleep)
Intervening abruptly with a bazooka ( antifungal ) to do the police , has
very little chance to reestablish a balance. WE need the whole spectrum of
the diverse possible species of bacterias to make it a viable system, that
can fulfill its precise function ( deliver "ready to assimilate" nutrients
to the cells of the happy host .
The state of most of the ecosystems at the macro level is the reflection of
what is happening inside.at the micro level ( quite a mess !)
To reestablish this natural balance require to stop any disturbance and it
will naturally restablish itself. Up to us to recognise all thoses
disturbances, might take some time . ( generations?). If we messed up with
this natural balance for thousands of years we might want to be patient but
consistant.
i understand 1sr hand Mary how frustating it can be to deal with chronic
disesase, just continue to strive for the best.
It will come .
