Dan Becker,

To back bed or not to back bed, that is the .............. thanks Dan, I
laughed at the thought that my rep proceeds me.

I think that the only problem with not back bedding is that the inevitable
(sp?) condensation will leak behind the glass and the muntins will tend to
rot out the wood faster than normal. CRL (800-421-6144) sells a gun that can
be filled with putty for fast bedding. Works . Using caulk is ok except later
down the line when you have to replace a broken pc. and try to dig out the
glass. If you do use caulk use a paintable one.
If you are in NYC you can come by my shop for a demo.
