Dear listmembers,
In Greenwich Village, there is a wonderful old store that for
decades has specialized in making truly superior pork products:
         Faicco's Pork Store
         260 Bleecker Street
The New York Times always refers to it as "the great, old Faicco's
store." Their Italian sausages and other products are made on the
premises without preservatives, fillers, artifical flavors or those
suspect "natural" juices. Their cheese sausage is made with REAL
provolone. Their sweet sausage is the real thing, with lots of fennel.
They assured me that Faicco's sausages do not contain any funny
stuff - by which I mean anything that could conceivably contain
gluten. I have eaten them repeatedly with great pleasure and recommend
them highly.
                          Regards to all,
                                Mary in NYC
